# Jason Dawes

**Jason Obrian Dawes** (born 27 December 1988) is a [Jamaican](/source/Jamaica) cricketer who has played for both [Jamaica](/source/Jamaica_national_cricket_team) and the [Combined Campuses and Colleges](/source/Combined_Campuses_and_Colleges_cricket_team) in West Indian domestic cricket.

A right-arm [fast bowler](/source/Fast_bowling), Dawes played for the [West Indies under-19s](/source/West_Indies_under-19_cricket_team) at the [2008 Under-19 World Cup](/source/2008_Under-19_Cricket_World_Cup) in Malaysia.[1] He took 11 wickets at the tournament to finish as his team's leading wicket-taker, including 4/25 against [Papua New Guinea](/source/Papua_New_Guinea_national_cricket_team) and 4/18 against [Nepal](/source/Nepal_national_cricket_team).[2] Dawes had also played for the West Indies under-19s at the [2007–08 KFC Cup](/source/2007%E2%80%9308_KFC_Cup), where matches held [List A](/source/List_A_cricket) status.[3] He made his [first-class](/source/First-class_cricket) debut in March 2009, playing for Jamaica against [Trinidad and Tobago](/source/Trinidad_and_Tobago_national_cricket_team) in the [2008–09 Regional Four Day Competition](/source/2008%E2%80%9309_Regional_Four_Day_Competition).[4] For the 2011–12 season, Dawes switched to the Combined Campuses, making his debut for them in the [2011–12 Regional Super50](/source/2011%E2%80%9312_Regional_Super50).[3] He returned to Jamaica for the 2014–15 season.[4]
