**Jano Vermaak** (born 1 January 1985) is a South African [rugby union player](/source/Rugby_union_player) He plays as a scrum half for the {Stormers} in [Super Rugby](/source/Super_Rugby) and {Western Province} in the [Currie Cup](/source/Currie_Cup). Vermaak previously represented the [Lions](/source/Lions_(United_Rugby_Championship)) and [Bulls](/source/Bulls_(rugby_union)) in [Super Rugby](/source/Super_Rugby) and the [Golden Lions](/source/Lions_(United_Rugby_Championship)) and [Blue Bulls](/source/Bulls_(rugby_union)) in the domestic [Currie Cup](/source/Currie_Cup) competition and [Toulouse](/source/Stade_Toulousain) in the French [Top 14](/source/Top_14).

He made his debut for the [Springboks](/source/Springboks) against [Italy](/source/Italy_national_rugby_union_team) on 8 June 2013 at [Kings Park Stadium](/source/Kings_Park_Stadium) in [Durban](/source/Durban), playing at scrum-half.[1]
