**James Perry Goodbody** (22 March 1877 – 21 March 1952) was an Irish politician. He was an [independent](/source/Independent_politician_(Ireland)) member of [Seanad Éireann](/source/Seanad_%C3%89ireann_(Irish_Free_State)) from 1922 to 1928.[1] From [County Limerick](/source/County_Limerick), he was nominated to the Seanad by the [President of the Executive Council](/source/President_of_the_Executive_Council_of_the_Irish_Free_State) in 1922 for 6 years.[2] He was one of three [quakers](/source/Quakers) nominated.[3] He did not contest the 1928 Seanad election.[1]
