# James Kops

**James Kops** is a Papua New Guinean [rugby league](/source/Rugby_league) footballer who represented [Papua New Guinea](/source/Papua_New_Guinea_national_rugby_league_team) at the [1995 World Cup](/source/1995_Rugby_League_World_Cup).

## Playing career

From the Hagen Eagles club, Kops first played for [Papua New Guinea](/source/Papua_New_Guinea_national_rugby_league_team) in 1995 at the [World Cup](/source/1995_Rugby_League_World_Cup).[2] He went on to play in six test matches, his last in 2001.[1]

In 2001 he moved clubs, joining the [Enga Mioks](/source/Enga_Mioks).[3][4]
