# James Endres

**James Endres**[2] (July 14, 1931 – April 9, 2018) was an American politician. He served as a [Democratic member](/source/Democratic_Party_(United_States)) of the [South Dakota House of Representatives](/source/South_Dakota_House_of_Representatives).[3]

## Life and career

Endres served in the [United States Army](/source/United_States_Army).[4]

Endres served in the [South Dakota House of Representatives](/source/South_Dakota_House_of_Representatives) from 1973 to 1980.[3]

Endres died on April 9, 2018, at the age of 86.[5]
