**James Beeston** [1] (born 17 September 1778) was an English professional [cricketer](/source/Cricket) who made 24 known appearances in important matches from 1794 to 1808. He was mainly associated with [Middlesex](/source/Middlesex_county_cricket_team_(pre-1864)).[2]
