**Jam Mubarak Khan** ([Sindhi](/source/Sindhi_language): ڄام مبارڪ خان) the **Chamberlain** was a [Samma](/source/Samma_dynasty) Noble who served as a [Vizier](/source/Vizier) to Jam Tughlaq and usurped the throne for three days as the thirteenth Sultan of Sindh.

## Life

Jam Mubarak Khan (distinct from [Jam Mubarak Khan](/source/Jam_Mubarak_Khan) also known as [Dollah Darya Khan](/source/Dollah_Darya_Khan)) served as a chamberlain and [vizier](/source/Vizier) to [Jam Tughlaq](/source/Jam_Tughlaq) of the [Samma dynasty](/source/Samma_dynasty). He was also a relative of Jam Tughlaq and during Jam Tughlaq's reign he commanded a force of 2000 men.[1] He rebelled against [Jam Sikandar II](/source/Jam_Sikandar_II) while the latter was away settling a dispute between the [hakims](/source/Hakim_(title)) of [Sehwan](/source/Sehwan) and [Bukkur](/source/Bukkur) [sarkars](/source/Sarkar_(administrative_division)).[2] When [Jam Sikandar II](/source/Jam_Sikandar_II) had reached [Naserpur](/source/Naserpur), Mubarak seated himself on the throne under the title of sultan without the consent of the [emirs](/source/Emir), who refused to recognize his authority.[3] After three days [Jam Sikandar II](/source/Jam_Sikandar_II) returned and ordered Mubarak's execution.[4][5]
