Jaleb khan has Two son (Chaudhary Mohd Israil, Mohd Sajid Khan). He was an [Ethnic Meo](/source/Meo_(ethnic_group)) belonging to the [Chhirkalot pal](/source/Meo_(ethnic_group)). His father was a famous [Chaudhary](/source/Chaudhary) in the [Mewat region](/source/Mewat) of [Haryana](/source/Haryana). He was not highly literate only being educated till grade 5. == Political career == Chaudhary Jaleb Khan contested the [Haryana Legislative Assembly elections](/source/1996_Haryana_Legislative_Assembly_election) in 1996 independent where he earned 10069 votes and came in third position. Then he contested again in 2005 under the [Indian National Congress](/source/Indian_National_Congress) where he lost by a margin of 8,830 ballots against the [independent](/source/Independent_politician) candidate, Harsh Kumar.
