It is located 3.5 km away from [Rurka Kalan](/source/Rurka_Kalan), 14.4 km from [Phillaur](/source/Phillaur), 33.8 km from district headquarter [Jalandhar](/source/Jalandhar) and 124 km from state capital [Chandigarh](/source/Chandigarh). The village is [administrated](/source/Administration_(government)) by a [sarpanch](/source/Sarpanch), who is an [elected representative](/source/Elected_representative).

## Demography

According to the report [published](/source/Published) by [Census India in 2011](/source/2011_Census_of_India), Jaitowal has a total number of 72 houses and population of 328 of which include 162 males and 166 females.
