It is located 3.5 km away from [Rurka Kalan](/source/Rurka_Kalan), 14.4 km from [Phillaur](/source/Phillaur), 33.8 km from district headquarter [Jalandhar](/source/Jalandhar) and 124 km from state capital [Chandigarh](/source/Chandigarh). The village is [administrated](/source/Administration_(government)) by a [sarpanch](/source/Sarpanch), who is an [elected representative](/source/Elected_representative).

## Demography
