**Jaghdan** ([Persian](/source/Persian_language): جغدان)[a] is a village in [Naghan Rural District](/source/Naghan_Rural_District)[4] of [Naghan District](/source/Naghan_District) in [Kiar County](/source/Kiar_County), [Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari](/source/Chaharmahal_and_Bakhtiari_province) province, [Iran](/source/Iran).

### Ethnicity

The village is populated by [Lurs](/source/Lurs).[5]

### Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 676 in 159 households, when it was in the [Central District](/source/Central_District_(Ardal_County)) of [Ardal County](/source/Ardal_County).[6] The following census in 2011 counted 630 people in 160 households,[7] by which time the rural district had been separated from the county in the establishment of [Kiar County](/source/Kiar_County) and transferred to the new [Naghan District](/source/Naghan_District).[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 523 people in 156 households.[2]
