==Tennis career==
Melskens played in four [Davis Cup](/source/Davis_Cup) ties for [Denmark](/source/Denmark_Davis_Cup_team), making his debut in 2005 during the [Group III](/source/2005_Davis_Cup_Europe%2FAfrica_Zone) play-off against [Bosnia and Herzegovina](/source/Bosnia_and_Herzegovina_Davis_Cup_team). During his Davis Cup career, he won his one singles match and 3 of the 4 doubles matches that he played.<ref name=":0" />
