# Jacob David

**Jacob David** (15 November 1873 – 26 May 1967) was a [Persian](/source/Qajar_Iran)-born [Assyrian](/source/Assyrian_people) pastor and relief worker. He was born in [Seyr (Sir)](/source/Sir,_West_Azerbaijan), a village to the west of the city of [Urmia](/source/Urmia), and died in Chicago.
