# Jackson Willison

**Jackson Dan Kingi Willison** (born 5 September 1988) is a New Zealand [rugby union](/source/Rugby_union) player. His regular playing position is as a [centre](/source/Rugby_union_positions#12._Centre).

Willison played for the in [Super Rugby](/source/Super_Rugby) from 2009 to 2012, and was part of the title winning Chiefs in [2012](/source/2012_Super_Rugby_season). He has also played for the in Super Rugby and [Waikato](/source/Waikato_Rugby_Union) in the [Mitre 10 Cup](/source/Mitre_10_Cup).

In 2012, he was selected for the [Māori All Blacks](/source/M%C4%81ori_All_Blacks_team) end of year tour.[1]

For [2013](/source/2013_Super_Rugby_season), Willison was initially included in the Chiefs, before being delisted[2] by coach Dave Rennie while he sought to contract Counties-Manukau midfielder [Bundee Aki](/source/Bundee_Aki).[citation needed] [Blues](/source/Blues_(Super_Rugby)) coach [John Kirwan](/source/John_Kirwan_(rugby)) acted quickly to sign Willison and move him to Auckland.[3]

At the start of 2014, it was announced that he would leave the after the [2014 Super Rugby season](/source/2014_Super_Rugby_season) to join French [Top 14](/source/Top_14) side [Grenoble](/source/FC_Grenoble) on a two-year contract.[4][5] On 8 January 2016, Willison joined [Aviva Premiership](/source/Aviva_Premiership) team [Worcester Warriors](/source/Worcester_Warriors) for the 2015–16 season.[6] On 15 January 2018, Willison signs for local rivals [Bath](/source/Bath_Rugby) ahead of the 2018–19 season.[7]

At conclusion of his contract with Bath he moved to French [Pro D2](/source/Rugby_Pro_D2) club [Soyaux Angoulême](/source/Soyaux_Angoul%C3%AAme_XV_Charente).
