**Jackson Luke Walls** (born 17 January 2003) is an [Australian](/source/Australians) racing driver currently racing in the [Supercars Championship](/source/Supercars_Championship) driving the No. 11 [Ford Mustang](/source/Ford_Mustang) for [Triple Eight Race Engineering](/source/Triple_Eight_Race_Engineering).

## Career

### Australian F4 Championship

In [2018](/source/2018_Australian_Formula_4_Championship), Walls jumped into a single seater car for the first time competitively with the Patrizicorse team in the [Australian F4 Championship](/source/Australian_Formula_4_Championship).[1] A string of successful midfield results as well as three podium finishes put him sixth with 148. Walls returned for the next campaign and his results were similar to the previous year, he took his maiden career victory at [Tailem Bend](/source/The_Bend_Motorsport_Park), [Lochie Hughes](/source/Lochie_Hughes) who started on pole initially took the victory after taking the lead back from Walls. Contact with Ryan Suhle caused the stewards to award Hughes with a five seconds penalty, allowing Walls to take the top step of the podium.[2]

### F3 Asian Championship

Walls and [Hitech Grand Prix](/source/Hitech_Grand_Prix) joined forced for the final three rounds of the [F3 Asian Championship](/source/F3_Asian_Championship) season.[3] Walls made an immediate impact when he finished on the podium for the second time of asking He scored the next podium at the season finale in [Shanghai](/source/Shanghai_International_Circuit), 20 seconds behind race winner [Jack Doohan](/source/Jack_Doohan_(racing_driver)). [Ukyo Sasahara](/source/Ukyo_Sasahara) finished 2nd that race meaning Hitech achieved that only 1-2-3 for that season.[4] Walls finished the season 6th with 90 points.

### Toyota Racing Series

Walls missed the opening round of the [2019 Toyota Racing Series](/source/2019_Toyota_Racing_Series) as he was only fifteen years old.[5] He finished the season 12th with a highest result of fifth coming at [Hampton Downs](/source/Hampton_Downs_Motorsport_Park). Walls returned to the mtec Motorsport seat for the [2020 season](/source/2020_Toyota_Racing_Series). Walls won his only race of the season at [Pukekohe Park Raceway](/source/Pukekohe_Park_Raceway), he started on reverse grid pole an fought most of the race against Czech teammate [Petr Ptáček](/source/Petr_Pt%C3%A1%C4%8Dek).

## Personal life

Walls's father, Tony, is a racing driver competing in events such as the [Australian GT Championship](/source/Australian_GT_Championship) and [Lamborghini Super Trofeo](/source/Lamborghini_Super_Trofeo). Jackson Walls's manager [Michael Patrizi](/source/Michael_Patrizi) is also a racing driver.[3]
