**Harold** "**Jack**" **Lassiter Jr**[1] is chancellor of the [University of Arkansas at Monticello](/source/University_of_Arkansas_at_Monticello). Before his current position, he was executive vice president of the [University of Arkansas System](/source/University_of_Arkansas_System), chancellor of the [University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville](/source/University_of_Arkansas_Community_College_at_Batesville), and the dean of Wharton County Community College.[2]

## Retirement

Lassiter retired on December 31, 2014.
