# Jack Ladyman

**Jack Ladyman** is an American [mechanical engineer](/source/Mechanical_engineering) and [politician](/source/Politician).[2] He served as a [Republican member](/source/Republican_Party_(United_States)) for the 59th district of the [Arkansas House of Representatives](/source/Arkansas_House_of_Representatives).[1]

Ladyman attended [Williams Baptist University](/source/Williams_Baptist_University), where he earned an [associate degree](/source/Associate_degree).[1] He then attended the [University of Arkansas](/source/University_of_Arkansas) where he earned a [Bachelor of Science](/source/Bachelor_of_Science) degree in [Mechanical engineering](/source/Mechanical_engineering).[2][1] In 2015, Ladyman won the election for the 59th district of the [Arkansas House of Representatives](/source/Arkansas_House_of_Representatives),[2] in which he was against Ron Carroll.[3] He succeeded [Butch Wilkins](/source/Butch_Wilkins_(politician)). Ladyman assumed his office on January 12, 2015.[2] In May 2022, he was nominated as candidate for the 32nd district.[4]
