'''John "Jack" Hather''' was an English professional [football](/source/Association_football) outside-left who played for Scottish club [Aberdeen](/source/Aberdeen_F.C.).

Born in [Annfield Plain](/source/Annfield_Plain), [County Durham](/source/County_Durham), Hather joined Aberdeen in December 1948.
