The **Jack Graney Award** is presented by the [Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum](/source/Canadian_Baseball_Hall_of_Fame) to a member of the [Canadian media](/source/Canadian_media) for their contributions to the game of [baseball](/source/Baseball) in Canada. The award is not presented every year, but rather when the committee believes there to be a worthy candidate[1].

The award takes its name from [Jack Graney](/source/Jack_Graney), one of the first [Canadian](/source/Canadians) baseball players to enjoy success in the [major leagues](/source/Major_League_Baseball), and one of the first notable Canadian baseball broadcasters.
