**Jabera Assembly constituency** is one of the 230 [Vidhan Sabha](/source/Madhya_Pradesh_Vidhan_Sabha) (Legislative Assembly) constituencies of [Madhya Pradesh](/source/Madhya_Pradesh) state in central [India](/source/India).[1] This constituency came into existence in 2008, following [delimitation](/source/Electoral_boundary_delimitation) of the legislative assembly constituencies. Before delimitation, the area covered by this constituency was part of the erstwhile Nohata constituency abolished in 2008.

[Jabera](/source/Jabera) (constituency number 56) is one of the 4 Vidhan Sabha constituencies located in [Damoh district](/source/Damoh_district). This constituency covers the entire Jabera and Tendukhera [tehsils](/source/Tehsil) of the district.[2]

Jabera is part of [Damoh Lok Sabha constituency](/source/Damoh_(Lok_Sabha_constituency)) along with seven other Vidhan Sabha segments, namely, [Pathariya](/source/Pathariya_Assembly_constituency), [Damoh](/source/Damoh_Assembly_constituency) and [Hatta](/source/Hatta_Assembly_constituency) in this district, [Deori](/source/Deori_Assembly_constituency), [Rehli](/source/Rehli_Assembly_constituency) and [Banda](/source/Banda%2C_Madhya_Pradesh_Assembly_constituency) in [Sagar district](/source/Sagar_district) and [Malhara](/source/Malhara_Assembly_constituency) in [Chhatarpur district](/source/Chhatarpur_district).[2]
