**Iwan Axwijk** (born 3 May 1983 in [Amsterdam](/source/Amsterdam), [Netherlands](/source/Netherlands)) is a Dutch footballer who played for [Eerste Divisie](/source/Eerste_Divisie) club [HFC Haarlem](/source/HFC_Haarlem) during the 2004–2008 seasons.[1]

## Club career

Axwijk left the [FC Utrecht](/source/FC_Utrecht) youth setup in 2004[2] to play 4 years professionally for Haarlem in the [Eerste Divisie](/source/Eerste_Divisie). In summer 2008 he joined amateur side [FC Lisse](/source/FC_Lisse) and later played for [IJsselmeervogels](/source/IJsselmeervogels)[3] and [Sparta Nijkerk](/source/Sparta_Nijkerk)[4] before returning to childhood club Hellas Sport.

## International career

Axwijk played once for the [Netherlands national under-19 football team](/source/Netherlands_national_under-19_football_team), in 2001 against Italy.[5]

## Personal life

His brother [Lion Axwijk](/source/Lion_Axwijk) played professional football for [RKC Waalwijk](/source/RKC_Waalwijk), [SC Veendam](/source/SC_Veendam) and [AGOVV](/source/AGOVV).
