He scored a volley from outside the box on 19 May 2018, in the last match of the regular season against [Salernitana](/source/Salernitana), in a 0-2 away win.

In June 2019 Chochev joined [Pescara](/source/Delfino_Pescara_1936), but never played because of his long recovery process from an injury he sustained in March 2019.

===CSKA 1948===
In the summer of 2020, Chochev returned to Bulgaria to sign with the newly promoted to [First League](/source/Bulgarian_First_League) team [CSKA 1948](/source/FC_CSKA_1948_Sofia).
