'''Ivan Clarence Carnaby''' (24 July 1908 – 1974) was an Australian farmer, [naturalist](/source/natural_history) and [ornithologist](/source/ornithology).  He was born in [Subiaco, Western Australia](/source/Subiaco%2C_Western_Australia).  He published many papers on [Southwest Australia](/source/Southwest_Australia)n birdlife in [''Emu''](/source/Emu_(journal)), ''[The Western Australian Naturalist](/source/The_Western_Australian_Naturalist)'' and ''Western Australian Bird Notes''.
