# Ith Samheng

**Ith Samheng** ([Khmer](/source/Khmer_language): អុិត សំហេង; born 1 August 1954) is a Cambodian [politician](/source/Politician) and a member of the [Cambodian National Assembly](/source/National_Assembly_(Cambodia)).[1] He previously served as a Minister of [Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training](/source/Ministry_of_Labour_and_Vocational_Training_(Cambodia)) (2013–2023)[2][3][4] and a Minister of Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation (2003-2013)[5] of the [Royal Government of Cambodia](/source/Royal_Government_of_Cambodia).[6] In 2003, he was appointed as the Minister for the first time in his political career.[7]
