Issabel is based upon open-source versions of [Elastix](/source/Elastix), [Asterisk](/source/Asterisk_(PBX)), [FreePBX](/source/FreePBX), [HylaFAX](/source/HylaFAX), [Openfire](/source/Openfire) and [Postfix](/source/Postfix_(software)) and provides PBX, fax, instant messaging and e-mail server functionality.

Issabel is open-source software licensed under the GNU General Public License.
