**Isam al-Qadi** ([Arabic](/source/Arabic_language): عصام القاضي) (died in 2006) was a [Palestinian](/source/Palestinian_people) [Ba'thist](/source/Ba'th) politician aligned with the [Syrian government](/source/Syrian_government). He was head of the Syrian-controlled [as-Sa'iqa](/source/As-Sa'iqa) faction of the [Palestine Liberation Organization](/source/Palestine_Liberation_Organization) (PLO) between 1979 and until his death in 2006. He lived and was buried in [Damascus](/source/Damascus).[1][2]
