# Ionidae

**Ionidae** or **Ionidai** ([Ancient Greek](/source/Ancient_Greek_language): Ἰωνίδαι) was a [deme](/source/Deme) (suburb) in [ancient Attica](/source/Ancient_Attica), of the *[phyle](/source/Phyle)* of [Aegeis](/source/Aegeis), sending two delegates to the [Athenian Boule](/source/Boule_(ancient_Greece)).[1]

This deme, along with that of [Cydantidae](/source/Cydantidae), venerated the *kolokratai*; these two demoi are the only known ones to venerate deities together.[2]

Its site is tentatively located near [Draphi](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Draphi&action=edit&redlink=1).[3][4]
