The '''Inya''' ({{langx|ru|Иня́}}, {{IPA|ru|ɪˈnʲæ|pron}}) is a river in [Kemerovo](/source/Kemerovo_Oblast) and [Novosibirsk Oblast](/source/Novosibirsk_Oblast)s of [Russia](/source/Russia). It is a right tributary of the [Ob](/source/Ob_(river)). It is {{convert|663|km|mi}} long, with a [drainage basin](/source/drainage_basin) of {{convert|17600|km2|mi2}}.<ref name=gvr>{{GVR|188837|Река ИНЯ}}</ref>

By the Inya lie the towns of [Leninsk-Kuznetsky](/source/Leninsk-Kuznetsky_(city)) and [Toguchin](/source/Toguchin).<ref>[http://bse.sci-lib.com/article056243.html Иня (река в Кемеровской и Новосибирской обл.)], [Great Soviet Encyclopedia](/source/Great_Soviet_Encyclopedia)</ref> The river flows through a rather densely populated area, and is crossed by several railway lines. 
==Course==
The Inya has its sources in a ridge in the central part of the [Kuznetsk Basin](/source/Kuznetsk_Basin), and flows through Kemerovo Olast in a mainly westerly direction, then enters Novosibirsk Oblast and finally joins the Ob, just {{convert|5|km|mi|0}} southeast of downtown [Novosibirsk](/source/Novosibirsk).

At the village of Beryosovka, some {{convert|30|km|mi}} from its mouth, the river's average discharge is {{convert|470|m3/s|cuft/s}}. The minimum discharge in February is {{convert|8.6|m3/s|cuft/s}}, and the maximum is in May at {{convert|195|m3/s|cuft/s}}. Near the mouth the river is some {{convert|60|m|ft}} wide and {{convert|1.5|m|ft}} deep. 

Its main tributaries are the Kasma, Ur and Bachat. The river freezes over in the beginning of November, and stays frozen till the spring thaw starts in mid-April.
