## Production

Its repetitive [noise music](/source/Noise_music) soundtrack was composed by [Mick Jagger](/source/Mick_Jagger) playing a [Moog synthesizer](/source/Moog_synthesizer). It was filmed in [San Francisco](/source/San_Francisco) at the Straight Theater on [Haight Street](/source/Haight_Street) in [Haight-Ashbury](/source/Haight-Ashbury) and at the [William Westerfeld House](/source/William_Westerfeld_House).[1]

According to Anger, the film, starring [Mick Jagger](/source/Mick_Jagger), [Manson family](/source/Manson_family) member [Bobby Beausoleil](/source/Bobby_Beausoleil) and [Church of Satan](/source/Church_of_Satan) founder [Anton LaVey](/source/Anton_LaVey), was assembled from scraps of the first version of *[Lucifer Rising](/source/Lucifer_Rising_(film))*. It includes clips of the cast smoking [hashish](/source/Hashish) out of a [skull](/source/Skull) and a [Satanic](/source/LaVeyan_Satanism) [funeral](/source/Funeral) ceremony for a cat.
