**Intense Records** was an [independent record label](/source/Independent_record_label) whose releases were mostly in the [metal](/source/Heavy_metal_music) genre. Intense was bought out in 1989 by [Frontline Records](/source/Frontline_Records) and became an imprint of that company.[1] The bands in their roster were some of the premiere [Christian metal](/source/Christian_metal) bands of the 1990s.
