# Insenborn

**Insenborn** (ˈɪnzn̩ˌbɔʁn; Luxembourgish: *Ënsber*) is a village in the [commune](/source/Communes_of_Luxembourg) of [Esch-sur-Sûre](/source/Esch-sur-S%C3%BBre), in north-western [Luxembourg](/source/Luxembourg). As of 2025, the village had a population of 194.[1]

## Geography

Insenborn lies on the south bank of the [Upper Sûre Lake](/source/Upper_S%C3%BBre_Lake), which is an artificial lake created by the damming of the [Sauer](/source/Sauer) river.
