# Ingmar Ott

**Ingmar Ott** (born 14 September 1955) is an [Estonian](/source/Estonia) [botanist](/source/Botanist).[1]

He was born in [Tartu](/source/Tartu).[citation needed]

In 1980, he graduated from the [University of Tartu](/source/University_of_Tartu) in biology. In 1984, he became affiliated with the [Estonian Institute of Zoology and Botany](/source/Estonian_Institute_of_Zoology_and_Botany).[1]

1992–2001 he was the head of Võrtsjärv Limnology Centre.[1]
