==History==
Inglefield Land is noted for its archaeological sites, which show evidence of occupation by the [Dorset Culture](/source/Dorset_Culture) and [Thule Culture](/source/Thule_Culture).

The last inhabited settlement in the region was [Etah](/source/Etah%2C_Greenland), which is now abandoned.

==Geography==
The region stretches from [Cape Alexander](/source/Cape_Alexander%2C_Greenland) to the southwest to [Cape Agassiz](/source/Cape_Agassiz%2C_Greenland) at the eastern end. It is bounded by [Prudhoe Land](/source/Prudhoe_Land) in the south, the [Humboldt Glacier](/source/Humboldt_Glacier) in the northeast, and the [Kane Basin](/source/Kane_Basin) to the north. The [Dodge Glacier](/source/Dodge_Glacier) is located to the southwest and the [Hiawatha Glacier](/source/Hiawatha_Glacier) to the east.
