**Indrek Teder** (born 3 December 1957, [Tallinn](/source/Tallinn), [Soviet Union](/source/Soviet_Union))[1] is an [Estonian](/source/Estonia) [lawyer](/source/Lawyer) and [jurist](/source/Jurist).

From 2008 to 2015 he was the [Chancellor of Justice](/source/Chancellor_of_Justice_(Estonia)) of [Estonia](/source/Estonia).

## Biography

He graduated from the [University of Tartu](/source/University_of_Tartu), Faculty of Law in 1983, and joined the Estonian Bar Association in the same year.

He was a member of the [Congress of Estonia](/source/Congress_of_Estonia).

He belongs to the [Estonian Students' Society](/source/Estonian_Students'_Society).[2]
