The '''imperial blackfish''', ''Schedophilus ovalis'', is a [medusafish](/source/medusafish) of the [family](/source/Family_(taxonomy)) [Centrolophidae](/source/Centrolophidae) found in the eastern [Atlantic](/source/Atlantic) and the [Mediterranean Sea](/source/Mediterranean_Sea), and occasionally in the western Atlantic ([Bermuda](/source/Bermuda)).
