It is the home of the [Chicago Dogs](/source/Chicago_Dogs), an [independent league baseball](/source/independent_league_baseball) team playing in the [American Association of Independent Professional Baseball](/source/American_Association_of_Independent_Professional_Baseball). It is located near [O'Hare International Airport](/source/O'Hare_International_Airport), as well as [Allstate Arena](/source/Allstate_Arena), the [Donald E. Stephens Convention Center](/source/Donald_E._Stephens_Convention_Center), and the [Fashion Outlets of Chicago](/source/Fashion_Outlets_of_Chicago).

The Chicago Dogs played their first game at Impact Field on May 25, 2018.
