**Ikornnes Church** ([Norwegian](/source/Norwegian_language): *Ikornnes kyrkje*) is a [parish church](/source/Parish_church) of the [Church of Norway](/source/Church_of_Norway) in [Sykkylven Municipality](/source/Sykkylven_Municipality) in [Møre og Romsdal](/source/M%C3%B8re_og_Romsdal) county, [Norway](/source/Norway). It is located in the village of [Ikornnes](/source/Ikornnes). It is the church for the Ikornnes [parish](/source/Parish) which is part of the [Nordre Sunnmøre prosti](/source/Nordre_Sunnm%C3%B8re_prosti) ([deanery](/source/Deanery)) in the [Diocese of Møre](/source/Diocese_of_M%C3%B8re). The white, brick church was built in a [rectangular](/source/Churches_in_Norway#Floor_plan) style in 1978 using plans drawn up by the [architect](/source/Architect) Alf Apalseth. The church seats about 350 people. There is no graveyard around this church, parishioners must use the one around the nearby [Sykkylven Church](/source/Sykkylven_Church). The building was [consecrated](/source/Consecrated) on 22 January 1978.[1][2][3]
