Guadalupe was born in [Naco, Sonora](/source/Naco%2C_Sonora) on 13 March 1960. Guadalupe debuted as an actor in the television series ''[Mein Freund Winnetou](/source/Mein_Freund_Winnetou)'' in 1980. He later made his film debut in ''[Vidas errantes](/source/Vidas_errantes)'', he was nominated for an [Ariel Award](/source/Ariel_Award) for [Best Actor](/source/Ariel_Award_for_Best_Actor) and won a Diosas de Plata Award for Best Newcomer for his performance in the film.
