Ibrahim Halidi supervised the National Revolutionary Youth Committee and was the second most important person for [Ali Soilih](/source/Ali_Soilih)'s regime.<ref>L. He was diagnosed with [brain cancer](/source/brain_cancer) in 2017 in [Tananarive](/source/Antananarivo). He underwent treatment in [Madagascar](/source/Madagascar), [Mauritius](/source/Mauritius) and [Tanzania](/source/Tanzania).
