# Ian Sinfield

**Ian Sinfield** (born 7 April 1977) is a former professional [rugby league](/source/Rugby_league) footballer who played in the 2000s. He played at international level for [Scotland](/source/Scotland_national_rugby_league_team), and at club level for [Oldham](/source/Oldham_R.L.F.C.) (two spells), [Rochdale Hornets](/source/Rochdale_Hornets) (two spells), [Keighley](/source/Keighley_Cougars) and [Swinton Lions](/source/Swinton_Lions).[2]

## International honours

Ian Sinfield won three caps in 2004–06 for [Scotland](/source/Scotland_national_rugby_league_team) while at Swinton.[1]

## Personal life

Ian Sinfield is the older brother of the rugby league footballer, [Kevin Sinfield](/source/Kevin_Sinfield).[citation needed]
