**I Have Honor** ([Armenian](/source/Armenian_language): Պատիվ ունեմ դաշինք, [romanized](/source/Romanization_of_Armenian): *Pativ unem dashink'*) was a [political alliance](/source/Political_alliance) in [Armenia](/source/Armenia). It was founded on 15 May 2021 as an alliance between the [Republican Party of Armenia](/source/Republican_Party_of_Armenia) and the [Homeland Party](/source/Homeland_Party_(Armenia)).[3] The Homeland Party withdrew from the alliance in June 2022.[4]

## History

The alliance was formed during the [2020–2021 Armenian protests](/source/2020%E2%80%932021_Armenian_protests). Both the Republican Party and the Homeland Party were previous members of the [Homeland Salvation Movement](/source/Homeland_Salvation_Movement) and called on Prime Minister [Nikol Pashinyan](/source/Nikol_Pashinyan) to resign following Armenia's defeat in the [2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war](/source/2020_Nagorno-Karabakh_war).[5] Both parties subsequently left the Homeland Salvation Movement to form the I Have Honor alliance.[6][7]

The alliance had confirmed that they would participate in the [2021 Armenian parliamentary elections](/source/2021_Armenian_parliamentary_election).[8] [Artur Vanetsyan](/source/Artur_Vanetsyan) was nominated to lead the alliance.[9] Following the election, the alliance won 5.22% of the popular vote, gaining 6 seats in the [National Assembly](/source/National_Assembly_of_Armenia).

On 21 June 2022, Artur Vanetsyan announced that he was withdrawing the Homeland Party from the I Have Honor alliance, effectively dissolving the alliance.[4]

## Ideology

The alliance identifies itself as [national conservative](/source/National_conservatism) and supports the strengthening of the military of Armenia, developing the economy, supporting the activities of the [Armenian Apostolic Church](/source/Armenian_Apostolic_Church), and ensuring the self-determination of [Artsakh](/source/Republic_of_Artsakh).[10][11]
