'''Industrifacket Metall''' (IF Metall) is a [trade union](/source/trade_union) in [Sweden](/source/Sweden). It was formed in a 2006 merger between the [Swedish Industrial Union](/source/Swedish_Industrial_Union) (Industrifacket) and the [Swedish Metalworkers' Union](/source/Swedish_Metalworkers'_Union) (Metall). Its roots in Metall trace back to 1888.
