**Hydrogenaudio** is an [online community](/source/Online_community) of audio enthusiasts, including some software developers.[1] It is known for its [blind](/source/Blinded_experiment) listening tests[2][3] and scientific mindset.[4][5] It has a website with [forums](/source/Internet_forum) featuring discussions about all kinds of [audio reproduction](/source/Sound_recording_and_reproduction) issues. There is also a [wiki](/source/Wiki) with articles about codecs and other aspects of audio technology.[6] The website was launched in 2001 and reported 112,875 registered user accounts in April 2019.[7]
