# Hurst Haven

**Hurst Haven** is a 10.2-kilometre (6.3-mile) long [river](/source/River) in [Hailsham](/source/Hailsham), [Wealden District](/source/Wealden_District), [East Sussex](/source/East_Sussex), England.[1][2] Located partly in the [Pevensey Levels](/source/Pevensey_Levels), Hurst Haven joins [Glynleigh Sewer](/source/Glynleigh_Sewer) to form the [Pevensey Haven](/source/Pevensey_Haven).[3]

## Course

Hurst Haven rises in a forest south of Cinderford Lane and flows a southerly course. Turning southwesterly around the neighbourhood of Carters Corner, Hurst Haven flows a southeasterly course into the Pevensey Levels just west of the village of [Magham Down](/source/Magham_Down). After receiving the waters of [Iron Stream](/source/Iron_Stream,_England), Hurst Haven turns south before curving west and receiving the waters of [Down Sewer](/source/Down_Sewer) and [Horse Eye Sewer](/source/Horse_Eye_Sewer) before joining Glynleigh Sewer to form the Pevensey Haven.[1]
