He is the brother of the current [prime minister](/source/Prime_Minister_of_Cambodia) [Hun Manet](/source/Hun_Manet) and the fourth child of former prime minister [Hun Sen](/source/Hun_Sen). He is currently chief of the [Defence Ministry](/source/Ministry_of_National_Defense_(Cambodia))'s Intelligence Department.
