# Humann Point

**Humann Point** ([64°24′S 62°41′W](https://geohack.toolforge.org/geohack.php?params=64_24_S_62_41_W)) is a point forming the north side of the entrance to [Duperré Bay](/source/Duperr%C3%A9_Bay) on the west side of [Brabant Island](/source/Brabant_Island), in the [Palmer Archipelago](/source/Palmer_Archipelago), Antarctica. It was first charted by the [French Antarctic Expedition, 1903–05](/source/French_Antarctic_Expedition,_1903%E2%80%9305), and named by [Jean-Baptiste Charcot](/source/Jean-Baptiste_Charcot) for [Vice-Admiral Humann](/source/Vice-Admiral_Humann) of the [French Navy](/source/French_Navy).[1]
