**Hugh Mitchell** (born 7 September 1989) is an English professional photographer and former actor, best known for playing [Colin Creevey](/source/Colin_Creevey) in *[Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets](/source/Harry_Potter_and_the_Chamber_of_Secrets_(film))*. He also appeared in *[The White Queen](/source/The_White_Queen_(miniseries))* as Richard Welles, alongside [Max Irons](/source/Max_Irons).

Mitchell attended [The Pilgrims' School](/source/The_Pilgrims'_School), [Winchester](/source/Winchester), from 1999 to 2003. After Pilgrims' he went to the [King Edward VI School, Southampton](/source/King_Edward_VI_School%2C_Southampton), from 2003 to 2006 and later [Peter Symonds College](/source/Peter_Symonds_College).[1]
