The '''Huerva River''' is a river in [Aragon](/source/Aragon), [Spain](/source/Spain). It is a [tributary](/source/tributary) of the [Ebro](/source/Ebro). Its mean annual discharge is only {{convert|67|hm3|acre-ft|lk=out}}.

==Course==
This {{convert|128|km|mi|adj=on}} long river rises in the [Sierra de Cucalón](/source/Sierra_de_Cucal%C3%B3n), near [Fonfría](/source/Fonfr%C3%ADa%2C_Teruel) in the [Jiloca Comarca](/source/Jiloca_Comarca). Flowing northwestwards near [Lagueruela](/source/Lagueruela) and [Villadoz](/source/Villadoz), it increases its size near [Villarreal de Huerva](/source/Villarreal_de_Huerva) when it is joined by the ''Arroyo de Villalpando''. Then it flows northeastwards past [Mainar](/source/Mainar), [Cerveruela](/source/Cerveruela), [Vistabella de Huerva](/source/Vistabella_de_Huerva), [Tosos](/source/Tosos) (formerly Alcañiz de la Huerva), [Villanueva de Huerva](/source/Villanueva_de_Huerva), [Muel](/source/Muel%2C_Zaragoza), [Cuarte de Huerva](/source/Cuarte_de_Huerva), [Cadrete](/source/Cadrete) and [María de Huerva](/source/Mar%C3%ADa_de_Huerva) until its waters reach the [Ebro](/source/Ebro) at [Zaragoza](/source/Zaragoza), where is called 'La Huerva'.

==Ecology==
