**Huaneng Renewables Corporation Limited** is a Chinese [electricity generation](/source/Electricity_generation) company. It is a subsidiary of Chinese state-owned enterprise [China Huaneng Group](/source/China_Huaneng_Group). It mainly generated electricity from [wind farm](/source/Wind_farm), according to the company.[2]

As of 31 May 2018[\[update\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Huaneng_Renewables&action=edit), the market capitalization of Huaneng Renewables' [H shares](/source/H_shares) was [HK$](/source/Hong_Kong_dollar)16.955 [billion](/source/Billion_(short_scale)).[3]The company completed its privatization and officially delisted on February 24, 2020.[4]

## History

Huaneng Renewables started its first [initial public offering](/source/Initial_public_offering) in 2010.[5] However, the firm withdrawn the application[6] and re-applied in 2011. On 10 June 2011 Huaneng Renewables listed its [H shares](/source/H_shares) on the [Stock Exchange of Hong Kong](/source/Stock_Exchange_of_Hong_Kong).[3]
