**Howard Philip Kinsman** (9 October 1900 – 10 January 1960) was a South African [sprinter](/source/Sprint_(running)) who competed at two Olympic Games.[1]

## Career

Kinsman competed in the [200 metres](/source/200_metres) at the [1924 Summer Olympics](/source/1924_Summer_Olympics) and the [1928 Summer Olympics](/source/1928_Summer_Olympics).[2]

Kinsman won the British [AAA Championships](/source/AAA_Championships) title in the 220 yards event at the [1924 AAA Championships](/source/1924_AAA_Championships),[3][4] where he defeated [Eric Liddell](/source/Eric_Liddell) into second place.[5]
