***How We Operate*** is the fifth studio album by the English [indie rock](/source/Indie_rock) band [Gomez](/source/Gomez_(band)) released in May 2006 by [ATO Records](/source/ATO_Records). Production on the album was overseen by the band as well as [Gil Norton](/source/Gil_Norton), known for his work on albums by artists such as [Pixies](/source/Pixies_(band)), [Foo Fighters](/source/Foo_Fighters) and [Pere Ubu](/source/Pere_Ubu). Recorded at [RAK Studios](/source/RAK_Studios) in [London](/source/London), *How We Operate* received generally favourable reviews from music critics.
